NXR-1700/1800 Compact Repeaters
MULTI-MODE, SPACE-SAVING REPEATER SOLUTION
The NXR-1700 VHF (NXR-1800 UHF) is a light, ultra-compact, multi-mode conventional repeater that offers features, flexibility and performance that make it ideal for users wishing to increase the range, capacity and capabilities of an existing FM Analogue system while also offering the option to migrate to digital operation at any time by simply asking your KENWOOD dealer to activate the appropriate DMR or NXDN license and configuring the radio accordingly.
Features include:
• 50/40* – 1 W RF Output Power (Up to 50/40* W@50%, 25 W@100% Duty Cycle) *(UHF models)
• Up to 32 Channels
• Clear 1.71-inch OLED Display
• Built-in IP Network Adapter
• IP Remote Management
• Multi-Site Conventional IP Network up to16 Sites (for both Digital and FM Analogue) in Unicast mode / Unlimited (depends on Ip backbone equipment) in Multicast mode (License Required - KWD-NX10MS)
• Flexible redundancy configuration (1+1 HSB)
• SIP phone interface (OP)
• KAS-20 AVL & Dispatch suite allows reception of Group Calls made from SIP Phones in NXDN and DMR Conventional mode
Voting Repeater/Receiver Feature
Up to 15 units of Voting Receivers can be connected to one Voting Repeater
RF Link Feature
RF Link Feature transfers Inter-site Calls using RF (Radio Frequency), which is used when an IP network cannot be prepared for Inter-site communication
Voice Logging
The Voice Logging Interface (VLI) in digital mode allows packet transfer to a Voice Logger (3rd party voice record application)

Light, Compact and Space Efficient
The NXR-1000 Series repeaters require only a quarter of the rack space compared to the NXR-710/810 or TKR-D710/810 Series models.
|
|
In addition, the NXR-1000 Series repeaters take up only half the rack space of other 1U repeaters that are 19-inch wide.

Orderly migration from FM Analogue to DMR or NEXEDGE NXDN Digital operation
The NX-1200AE3 (VHF) and NX-1300AE3 (UHF) hand-portable radios are a perfect match to the NXR-1700/1800 repeaters. These entry-level hand-portable radios are supplied factory-programmed for FM Analogue operation but allow you to upgrade to either DMR + FM Analogue or NEXEDGE NXDN + FM Analogue formats at a time to suit your needs – making your investment in the NXR-1700/1800 repeater futureproof and the migration to the benefits of digital operation both orderly and cost-effective.
